About Us

The Office of Medical Center Compliance (OMCC) serves as a resource by acting as a compass to guide employees through the frame-work of laws, regulations, and rules that are applicable to their job responsibilities.  The OMCC promotes ethical business conduct by:

• Serving our customers
• Acting as an advocate in professional relationships
• Conducting ongoing monitoring related to billing, coding, and documentation
• Providing training and education
  

The OMCC is a team of unique and diverse individuals with combined expertise in many areas.  We are involved in auditing and monitoring directives, and providing education to our faculty and employees.  We have many years of clinical experience as well as experience in other areas.  Several of us have functioned in leadership roles throughout our careers.  Some of our areas of expertise are billing, coding, finance, legal, and nursing.
